Side draught Dellorto 48 or Mikuni with inlet manifold would be a good start.(they are not easy to find but I know where there is availabilty)
Does the car have header pipes? These too release a fair bit of power.
Kind regards
Carl

I had very good results with a 45DCOE carb and only ditched it when I the bottom fell out one of the carbs.

However, as I seem to spend most of my time retuning carbs for friends these days I would not recommend it unless you are well versed in tuning or live near someone with a proven track record in them. Basically people who can tune them are few and far between. For rotaries it seems to be Pip at WGT, Carl and myself are about the only 3 in the UK.

So I went the DIY_EFI route, which works great. However I am the sort of car nut that the aftermarket industry really hates :-)
