Title: differential help pls
Post by: pavkata_uk on February 08, 2006, 04:09:33 PM
Hi all

I am desperate for a differential + housing (disc brake) for a 1984 first gen.

If anyone has any info on car bakers or places I can check out, I will be really grateful.

Thanks in advance

What sort of stamp m I looking for and where about is it so I can check mine. I just cant believe that I gave the car to my mate so he can hit the curb crack the rim and **** up the diff. I would not be looking for one now

I don’t know hot good you are on diffs but the rim is missing a peace of it so it can not hold a tire, and the axle is bended on two spots. My worry is that the casing is also bended, do you thing that you can check that somehow??

doesnt sound good, like you say its a new diff, i also have some standard alloys if you need a spare, mines not a limited slip diff so its up for grabs, it you can take some pictures of yours i can check to see if they are the same but i imagine they are, i can also send you some pictures of mine as its off the car
