Title: Changed my fuel filter today
Post by: Thud on February 04, 2006, 06:17:23 PM
Thought this would be a 15 mins job - turned into 2 hours!!

 :Grrr    :2Mad  :reallymad  :Grrr

what sadist in Mazda decided to put the fuel filter way down there where there is no room to swing an ant? Of course had the usual siezed nut and stuck on fuel tubing problems.

For those who have changed it themselves you have my sympathy and for those who have not - pay someone else to do it!

I\'m off to have a beer now to relax, assuming that is that my skinned fingers are still capable of grasping a pint....

On the otherhand the little bugger is out and I shouldn\'t have to do through this for another 30K miles!! :Thumbs-up

mate I feel with you !

but hahaha, did you ever done this on FD? Please trust me, the FC filter is realy a EASY one if you compare with FD- Filter..... ^_^

So trust me, they are things them are even more a pain in the a***

After changing abot a ton of filters so far, them are realy easy to do if you have done this few times. But one thing remain, if you came home, not even you cat gonna smell on you, and no kiss from your girl friend before shower ^^
