Title: Turbo rebuilds/upgrades
Post by: ScuttleRX on September 23, 2003, 06:35:29 PM
Anyone know of a company that does turbo rebuilds/upgrades?

Prefrably in South East but not essential.

Think one of the oil seals in my turbo is starting to leak a little, can these be replaced or do you normally have to get the turbo re-built?

Hey Scuttle I have a turbo pack etc, in exellent condition, no cracks in the manifold, no excessive play in the shafts, £350.

Rotors has the right idea; buy a 2nd hand turbo pack (geff sells em for about the same, £250-450 depending on condition) - or just live with it while u save for a single turbo kit :D

My turbo pack is up for sale as well!

Missed the boat again :(

Or perhaps Geff/Chris have already got a buyer lined up for it...?

Thanks for the help.

Have had it checked over and seems ok for the moment and hasnt sprayed out any oil since the one time it happened, thinks it was prob overfilled a tad.

I\'ll give it a couple of weeks and keep an eye on it, if it goes bad in that time i\'ll be in touch :) but fingers crossed it will be ok.

Would the perfect excuse to go for a single though...

:D
