Title: Turbo Timer
Post by: C-WestRZ on January 30, 2006, 06:30:31 PM
Hello guys.  :flamed
Just wanted to know if any of u gents use a turbo timer? If u do, what one is it?
I have a laser line cat 1 alarm/immobiliser.
Just wondering if the apexi one is good because it could work with the PFC, or the greddy one etc.....
Any opinion/experiances are appreciated.
Many thanks
Chris

I have an Apexi in at the moment, but have asked the electrician in the bodyshop where my rex is at the moment to take it out.

Far to much hassle than it is worth IMHO.  :Hammer

I\'ve got a Razo turbo timer in mine.  It\'s got an auto function where it tells you how long the engine should be left running which depends on how its been driven.  Its also got 2 manual presets set for 1 minute and 3 minutes.

If i\'ve been driving hard i normally just flick it on auto and sit in the car while it counts down.

:3Confused I know Freddy, kind of defeats the purpose of having one but just cant get out of the car and walk away with the engine running, so i just use the timer as a guide.

seems to go against my nature to walk off while its still running. :eek
everyone seems to agree its not worth it. looks like a gadget that you will never use

Just kidding Frankie; I know what you mean. The better option is the clifford alarm with turbo timer function.
