Hi Rob, i believe he lives near your way, but his yard is near Ringwood my son is in touch with him very often, so when i see my son later i\'ll get more details, i don\'t know anything about prices as yet, but these cars are not exacly big cars! and don\'t have a lot of rust damage to repair do they,
Also something that helps is he is a really genuine guy, very helpfull, and very skilled.with my own car it was just \'blown over\' (not by him) before i got it in silver, but it was not a \'proper\' respray and it always shows, Anyway i will find out his number and address for you and Pete. just add that his paint jobs often win best of show, or best paint, and style and design awards.
cheers Bob

Hello Pete, if none of those guys grab your fancy. I know of a good sprayer/bodyshop. They did my FD for me and fitted my bodykit all totally blended in with no lines. I believe you also know Nathan with the yellow FD, they also did his bodykit after someone else bodged it up. He was also very happy with their work. Let me know what you think and I will post the contact details etc. It will be in good hands there as the owner just luv\'s Rx7\'s :mmmm .......cheers Leigh.

Hi Pete, forgot about this post as well been on here for ever. The paint shop is at Brokenford Lane Totton and the number is 02380 869391. The person too talk too is Steve Denney he is the owner failing that speak too Nick he is the top spayer there.

If you give him a call he can probably give you a quote, just mention that Leigh Spencer recommended them to you. They are not the cheapest place around but the quality of their work is spot on. The fit and finish on my bodykit is great and they also did Nathan\'s. You know him the mad man in the yellow FD  ;) .. If you get any problems you can pm me and I will speak to them.........cheers Leigh.

Oh they know how to treat the Rx7 regards engine flooding etc, and they love the cars to death :Thumbs-up

That\'s great Leigh,
Has Nathan still got his FD?..or have estate agents overtaken GP pay??!! :evillaugh
I\'ve decided that a respray is imperative to keeping the FD for at least another 3 years..10 in total.
Do they sort rear wheel arch rust(just bubbling paint at present) and small bodywork dints too?
You can tell them i\'ll pay in paper notes..if that\'s what quality and locality pay for.
What\'s their paint range?-will stick to the original red, but will want a deep Ferrari-type tone.
Even my wife has agreed, otherwise i\'ll blow a packet on a new car :Giggle ..now that wouldn\'t be cheap!
Thanks
Pete

Yep Nathan has still got his Rx, he\'s put it on here a couple of times for sale but no takers. I still think in the bottom of his heart he still wants to keep it. But he\'s now got a company car and keeps the Rx in the garage, he takes it out on nice days, polishes it and then put\'s it away again :Giggle .

The bodyshop can do any colour you like, and they can sort out all the nasty parking ding\'s etc. When I had my bodykit fitted they removed all those nasty little dent\'s on mine. Came out looking brand new :cool . Have also pm\'ed you Pete...........cheers Leigh.

An update on colour choice.
Popped down to the recommended resprayer (Thanks Leigh).
I\'m sticking with a Red base-coat..but....will go for a pearl-flip...no it won\'t be tittish! :evillaugh
We discussed some ideas and  i think they know what i\'m after..they have the full house-of-Kolor range.
Must choose carefully :mmmm
Pete
Aiming the respray for the last 2 weeks of June-will keep you updated!

I would be interested to know how you get on. I\'m looking at a respray this year, so I\'m looking for recommendations. Fortunately the panels on mine are fairly straight and ding-free. Shame about the paint though. I have my new front bumper, and still haven\'t decided on the bonnet. Once I have that it is off to the paint shop.
Looking forward to seeing your pics!

Keith

Glad to see it\'s started to happen regards the painting Pete, Would be nice to see some pics of before and after then we can get a good idea on how ggod the paint job looks like. When they did mine I popped up there and had a look, seemed weird seeing it jacked up with no wheels or doors on. Came out looking sweet though.....best of luck cheers Leigh.
