Avcr\'s are prob 1 of the best boost controllers u can get as they have 3 saved settings of boost u can choose anytime... Paired with the safc or the power fc u can map ur car very safely...

I currently have a HKS evcIII in mine but im replaceing with an avcr...

Very user friendly and are very kool looking too :Thumbs-up

Has anyone actually used the unit? There are a few worrying things in the manual like no UK warranty and you cannot turn it on with the ignition and off with it. Seems very user unfriendly in that respect.

Yea used it loads of times in my mates old Gti-R... Unit comes on with the ignition and is very easy to use...

UK warranty?? If u buy a product from a registered dealer u are entitled to a replacement if its faulty etc... Within a time period id imagine tho...

I had one originally and between Re:Worx, myself and a friend non of us could get it to work properly.  Changing to a Dual SBC was the best move ever made.

It\'s a great boost controller but not on the FD

Cheers Andy. I figured the warning was to cover thenselves if it wen\'t wrong on start up. And the warranty..who are approved APexi Dealers in the UK?

Monkey..Who makes the Dual SBC? So I can investigate the spec. Thanks.

Cool they must have got better at the install since mine, when we had it on the dyno they said it was rubbish on the RX7 compared to the Blitz SBC.  It just couldn\'t control the boost properly...

I gotta say i\'m more than happy with the blitz, easy to setup and effective.

Had one on my pulsar, and it\'s going on the fd before mapping. Not that difficult to set up imho.

Just a quick update!

My AVC-R has stopped contorlling the boost this morning, Now boost\'s over the settings in the AVC-R!

Going back to RE:worx to get it sorted hopefully, if not I\'ll go for  Greedy Profec B as I\'ve heard nothing but good things about them.

OK Gents, I\'m placing the order in the morning (Friday) with Graham Clark Motorsport (my local in Leicester unless anyone knows a better (cheaper!) place near Nuneaton??)
These are the shortlist items-
1) G-Reddy Profec B
2) Blitz SBC
3) HKS EVCIII
4) Dual SBC (Blitz again??)

Can I have your comments by the truckload. Any full DIN sized units to take up the space...or half DIN.
Cars a twin turbo FD3 with 300bhp ATW on a good day. Apexi + Commander.
