you can get hid conversion kits I\'ve got one on my FD it came from the US but i did look at the guy posted above but he was dealing thru the guy in the US at the time & forgot to take the pic links off the site. worked out cheaper from US but it was H3 I was buying.

I\'ve got 8000k they\'re bright enough to reflect number plates under street lights, have a slight blueish tinge to them but not very noticeable, If i was looking for another set I\'d go 6 or 8k, in my opinion 12k are just for show they\'re more like purple!. If you go for hid lamps try to get one with the ballast & igniter in one unit as it takes up less room. Mine are Tech One but they dont do a H4 as far as I know. I hear Mculloch are quite good. Theres plenty of conversion kits on ebay.

not true , I fitted HID ,it is very good working and I have used 8000k before
it is a bit blue, and i have stopped by cop get a fine for 30 pounds. So now I am changed to 6000k with hi/lo both HID which is very good. By the way I think BMW use 4000k as sunshine light

I might of thought H4 with dual hid might not let the pop ups work as the bulbs are larger due to the motor for the hi/lo some kits are low only with xenon bulb for the hi.
