hi ive got a rx7 gen 3, type r import.. its running the standard ecu so its mapped for 100 ron, ive seen people mentione these ecus as a good and somewhat needed replacement, so its mapped to our uk fuel and it also does part throttle maps, increases bhp etc.

how much do these retail at brand new? and where?

as sometimes i see them come on ebay, has anyone got the exact model that i should be looking for.
MAZDA RX7 FD3S APEXI POWER FC+COMMANDER is this what i want?

who does mapping? someone mentioned somewhere in portsmouth that are apparently very good, how much is a typical map price from them?

thanks all :)

The company in portsmouth that your refering to is reworx have a look on thier website //www.reworx.com and read some comments about them
here (http://www.fduk.org/forum/showthread.php?t=839), they are excelent in my opinion but not the only people that could map your ecu.

You would be looking for an apexi power fd and commander but to tell exactly which one you would need to tell us what year your car is, also where in the country are you will help us point you in the right direction on who can map the car for you.

All the best

Alan

You can buy the ecu from RE:WORX and get them to fit it and map, can\'t quote on a price, best to give them a call.

If you buy the ECU from RE:Worx and get them to map it, they take off £50 from the mapping cost.
