Title: Fuel Filter/ and waste gate
Post by: mpaul0055 on September 15, 2003, 06:18:05 PM
Well eventually my car is thriugh its MOT so ill have it UK registered by the end of the week. One problem though, the garage couldn`t find the fule filter. Can and one help me by letting me know where it is situated.

Ive also had someone telling me that there are two plastic olive shaped things in the wasgate pipes that go to the ECU. He said removing these will make the car boost alot better. Any one tried this.

Cheers Mark

Research lots before you muck about with your boost control, and dont listen to gimps.
Tell them to look around the diff for the fuel filter. It is a swine of a job.

Just to confirm what Mr Rotors said; - get the car on ramps - and look above the diff. Shitty job to change them on your drive way - unless u like petrol in your eyes and down your arm? ;)

You\'ll need a twisty extender on the end of your ratchet!
