dose any one know were i can get hold of a cheep manual gear box for a 3rd gen RX7, dosent mater hot bad the gears are...?????

I\'ll be replacing a friends gearbox in a few weeks, as his is a bit tired. Would his old one do? all the gears work fine i think it just wines a little. Will find out the exact problem if you would like.

that would be great, could you find out how much he wants for it for me and the best way to get it down as i live in essex near stansted airport...

ok m8 i\'ll ask him. Not sure when we\'ll be taking the engine and gearbox out as I have two other engines to build before then, so am gussing sometime in early Feb. So if you can\'t wait that long no worries, just let me know.

i can wait mate, thats not a problem....can you tell me, is the clutch on a manual hydrolic, just ive got a manual for RX7s 3rd gen and it said something about the clutch pedal oil level????

Yes it is hydraulic and it is a pull type clutch as std, operated by a slave with it\'s own clutch cylinder. It takes the fluid from the brake resevoir.

Wav, any luck with the gearbox you were going to change??? just wanted to see if its still on the cards or not??

Yeah, I\'m getting round to it m8 ;) should be taking it out within the month. Will let you know when it is out.
