Title: choice of 2 wheels?
Post by: G@NDY on January 10, 2006, 02:28:12 PM
As im addicted to buying shiny bits that i cant afford, it was inevitable that i came across a set of alloys that i like. but i dont know which would be best. i plan on using them as a sort of track/summer wheel with either the dunlop do1j\'s or toyo r888, and keeping my standard set to shove on over the winter. The choice i have are a set of Enkei rs evolution 17 wheels but the are only 7j\'s ??? and there offset is 45. Or a set of BBS wheels they are (fronts) 17x8.5 with a 35 offset !! and the rears are 17x9.5 with a 45 offset. but im not sure if these would fit with the offsets? What does everyone think about the sizes? i guess the wider rears would be better :xconfused  :WaveBye

The enkei ones are far too narrow. Just to give an idea. The stock 16" rims are 8J.

I would go with the BBS\'s if deciding between the two.
