OK,
I decided on White And I have narrowed it down a bit.
I have been chopping away to decide and I am getting more confused.
Car should be a single turbo 400 odd hp street/track car
Does the FD ever look bad??
Wide or not wide? or a combination?
Which of these would you go for?
#1 REAmemiya N1Pro with GTR Rims.
#2 Same with scoot Bonnet and SE37
(http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c349/rextreme/REA_N1_mao.jpg)
#3 Feed kit with front fenders and 19" AVS T7
(http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c349/rextreme/fd_feed_IV_White_RSII.jpg)
#4 RE Amemiya G9 Feed Fenders and Work Emotion R Rims
(http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c349/rextreme/REXTREME_MAO_G9f.jpg)
#5 Mazdaspeed GTC with Advan RG and REA G9 bonnet
(http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c349/rextreme/REXTREME_MAO_GTCf.jpg)
#6 Knight sports Type 5 REA 99Widebody and Advan RG in White
(http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c349/rextreme/REXTREME_MAO_Knight.jpg)
OR
#7 RE-Amemya G9 with scoot feed and mazdaspeed + 19"AVSt7
(http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c349/rextreme/REXTREME_MAO_G9c.jpg)
now this is a tuff one mate. I would personnally go with the mazdaspeed gtc body kit with a scoot bonnet and the SE37 wheels :cool
A mix between two and five to get the wheels/lights/bonnet I liked from each.
Wouldnt want a scoot, and the sleek lights on 2 are horrid imho. Both wheels are ok but the offset looks a bit weak on 5...
good \'shopping there rextreme, where idd you get pics of all the kits from the same angle?
I like the feed or knightsports front best, it has to be mixed with wide arches for sure, and some of the work termist range are stunning.
I dont mean to confuse you even more but what about the burnout k**-1 kit? its wide but subtle, v.v. nice. theres a thread called oh...my...god with pics of it on here somewhere.
19\'s look a little off.
Out of the above;
RE Amemiya N1 Pro (With much carbon bits added as possible)!
RE Amemiya G9
Re Amemiya Carbon Wing
Re memiya Carbon Mirrors mounted to fenders
Advan RG (in anthracite/gunmetal or gold).
I like an FD in white. :)
I\'d vote but I would like a combination from the above pictures. What do you think of the Panspeed front and widened fenders?
Dandan, pics are from kaizousha website.
HTH
I\'ll have number 4 please! Come to think of it, it looks similar to my car :Tongue1 , except for the wheels, nose and the size of the rear spoiler (if you\'re picky) If I had to go for different wheels, those Work Emotion wheels, would be at the top of my list :mmmm .
I have the front and rear fenders coupled with the side skirts from no. 6 on my FD. Personally, I think they are a little dated now.
Russ, add to list. Re Amemiya Carbon diffuser complete with bowtech generator\'s! :D
number three, those rims will make it look faster! and the lines of the kit kinda flows with the rest of the car while being aggressive at the same time. i would have number 6\'s side skirts tho.
good photoshop skills there.
Number 2 all day long. For me it just stands out, those Volks and the Scoot bonnet just set off what is probably about one of the best wide kits for the FD IMO. I\'d take that over any of the others :)
#4 RE Amemiya G9 Feed Fenders and Work Emotion R Rims
You have to have front AND rear wide fenders.
I would put the Advan RG\'s from #5 on it though, 18\'s only. Also depends if the Advan\'s have the correct offsets to avoid running with spacers.
No 2, but with a panspeed bonnet or other and the re-a wing mirrors that mount on the fenders :bandit
Paul:)
No 5 but with TE37\'s would look very lush :driving
Wow what an amazing load of cars !!!!
Personally I love #4 but with some Gold TE37s or some Gram Light 57 pros, nothing bigger than 17 or 18 though.
And have the red recaros in #3 !!!!
FD does look nice in white.
Gareth
Number 4 or 5 are the ones for me.
Thanks so far.
Ahh the addition of more ideas.
And the mix of parts.
Years ago i started the FD builder to allow choice of kit. http://www25.brinkster.com/REXTREME/REXTREME_FD_BUILDER.HTM
I was going to use these images as the next step in building a more realistic one.
But I have decided to draw everything again more accurately. It will take a long time so it will be a project for my future web site update.
Kaisousha is a good reference for parts. and the angle is the almost the same for many. Unfortunately the colour of all is not.
I didnt spend a lot of time on these chops so I realise they are not 100% correct.
I just want a rough Idea. As I do more then I\'ll make another post.
I was going to put some te37 in there.
I have a few more combo\'s I want to test and I might add the combos that have been suggested. So stay tuned.
Freddy although dated, the right combo still looks good.
I absolutely love the old style swimming pool rear spiolers. Just didnt have a good pic.
So don\'t throw them away I would be interested to put them on a drifter.
If I save enough cash for a cheap crappy drifter as well, it will definately get the "old school" fd touch from around mid 1990\'s
6 months to go....
number 7 in black, corner pocket :-)
I know what you mean Russ. On mine the kit is matched with a AD Facer II bumper with bumper canards. Rear bumper is stock with RE-A Diffuser. Edit; Attached pic to make it easier!
Also, found a pic of a white FD with the same styled kit. You\'re right, it doesnt actually look too bad at all. Pic attached below. The Greddy 9 front bumper would also look much nicer with all the optional carbon bits. It all become\'s difficult to choose from!
BTW, is it the RE-A Wangan spoiler you\'re speaking of?

Freddy
one of my chops actually started from that white car.
I meant I would like to combine your sides.
but i like this rear spoiler, I saw heaps second hand in Japan for about 1000yen

The RE-Wangan spoiler is an aquired taste. Some either love or hate it!
I had it on my below Panspeed FD. Some days I liked it, others days I didnt. In the end I replaced it with a GT wing. However, if I do end up keeping the Panspeed FD. I will probably replace the GT wing back to the RE-A Wangan spoiler.
Incidently, what do you think of the Panspeed fender arches?

Thats the baby...
Freddy, Is that the car that came from kaizousha originally?
Are you going to put a diffuser on it?
Panspeed stuff I like. Their front bars are awesome. and I think their turbo set ups are very clean.
Their fenders have that hard edge which I dont think suits the FD though. The front ones seem to be set too high on the pan. On Their race car, which was about 4 inches lower than normal, they looked great cause the tire was cut into the fender a lot higher, but on the road car, they seem a bit too big. The rears seem just stick on.
Still cool though.
I went to their workshop and it was a mess. Stuff absolutely everywhere.
But had a good look at their red demo car. I like the little pan-speed mirrors.
But they seem to still produce great stuff.
Nooooo I am not a fan of the \'buffet table\' spoiler at all.
However it looks alright on your white FD Freddy.

Russ, I\'m guessing if you\'re asking if my Panspeed car came from Kaizousha? It didnt. Came from USS Tokyo. :)
The quality of Panspeed kits are really good. I ordered some stuff last year and there was very little fiddling required to fit. The front bumper look\'s mean and allow for plenty of air.
I know just what you mean about the fender\'s. It gives a GT sort finish at the front, where as the FEED, RE-A are much more curved. You can actually get one with an even higher raised fender arch from Panspeed - although I have never seen anyone going for it!
We went to RE-A shop in Narita and they had stuff everywhere too. All good stuff. ;)
Interesting you mentioned about the turbo setup. The Panspeed car was having it\'s engine overhauled here. The quality of the polishing of the ports was very good and the overall single turbo set up done by them was neat. Last I heard, Panspeed offer a drop off in the morning and collect in evening rebuild service. :)
Better pic of front bar and fender and pic of spoiler removed and fitted with GT wing.

Freddy,
I looked again at the Pic I have of the Pan car.
It has the earlier model bar.
I modded a few more pics last night. I\'ll post later.
USS. cool. First time I went there, I creamed, soo many cars.
I liked touring the car parks in their mini bus.
What the hell is the removable centre part of the front bar for?
I never under stood. I though maybe for more downforce at the track or something? but they never run without it.
Is it for protecting the paint when your leaning into the engine bay?
I think the service culture is just very good in Japan.
I had a clutch replaced at the mazda dealer.
It died at 5pm dropped it in at 6pm.
I had a new one in by 11am the next day.
Russ.
The mini bus part of USS is fantastic! Car\'s to be seen as far as you can see.
When I got my Panspeed front bumper. I recieved the panel on the front bumper seprately. Basically, the idea is you can mount some rods and adjust the angle/height of that small section for downforce purposes whilst on track. I just bonded mine to the rest of the bumper however! :)
Look forward to seeing the next range of modded pics!
