Title: Fuel Warning Light?
Post by: gonzoninja on January 08, 2006, 02:18:53 PM
Does the FD have a low fuel warning light?

This may seem a silly question, but I have never seen mine come on.

It doesn\'t come on when I start the car, the way the other lights do briefly and then go out, and the other day I went to fill my car up with petrol and I put in 63.5 litres. As far as I know the FD has a 65 litre tank and I would have thought the light SHOULD have come on by then!

I really don\'t want to get stranded anywhere!

The FD has a 76 liter tank  :Thumbs-up  Although I have never managed to get low enough to put more than about 65 liters in, the light still came on - It comes on when it has, very roughly, 1/8th of a tank left.

Ha,

Well most of the time my car\'s petrol gauge is just above the empty line, but I guess I never get it low enough to see the light.
