i been in rehab!

only kiddin ya,

yeh i havent been posting much, its winter and i kinda hibernate, by the time i get home its too dark to work on the Rex, i suppose when we still get lighting in the evenings i will have a go at it again,

I got a mate whos going to let me borrow the spraying gear and his mig welder i now have no choice as i spent the same amount of money to buy a rebuilt fd ona diesel VW!

I suppose its just indicators and a spray it needs, but a few patches of rust here and there i need to nip in the bud -- its getting the time to do it!

How coem your selling it mate? what you got planned then!? i was a bit suprised to see it on ebay actually. i thought you changed your mind matey...

you dont have to sell it with the panspeed ecu do ya? cos i know someone who would love it for his RX (mine)

I wouldn\'t have the conscions to remove the ECU from it mate, without the fueling was a little erratic, no point in selling the car knowing that the new owner will kill it if he floors it!

I take it you\'re chip has not arrived then???

no i told him to bugger off.

i asked him what he meant by spec? if it was a copy of the knightsports, and what it was mapped for, he couldnt give an answer, he mutally agreed to withdraw from the sale.

yeh what if i crossed your palm with a few notes? dont you owe me a favour?! lol

So Brett - are you going to keep us guessing what the next project is? Surely you are not stepping out of the rotary circle? (crap pun...)

I\'m saving up to import an Infini IV......

In the mean time I will be heading the way of the boinger for awhile :(  But I\'ll still be on here to bug the hell out of everyone, and I still have my own personal spares/wankel mountain and a few obscure bodyshells knocking around, so who knows what could happen in the interim.....

(I\'ll be driving a Lexus Soarer in the mean time, undecided whether to go V8 or straight 6 twin turbo)

I\'d go for the V8 to. I guess they are a bit unusual and mysterious if you are used to rotaries. A bit like going out with a Spanish girl or something....

Yeah, you do here a lot of horror stories about piston engines, needing rebuilds every 60k or something on the high performance ones?  :D

Its sold.... and I\'ve bloody given it away too! £1900 cash, the chap is coming down on Saturday morning to collect it.

Still, I can start saving for my next rex now :D
