Title: The Battery
Post by: davegttph1 on January 05, 2006, 04:18:24 PM
Its dead, car hasnt moved for a couple of weeks and I want to charge the battery, the charger I have is only good for batteries for engines smaller than 1.6. So come on, it the battery on this designed to start a 1.3 or a 2.6, I dont wish to blow my charger ;) (or at least go to the hassle of taking the battery off and finding it doesnt charge  :Hammer

Won\'t blow your charger up it will just take longer to charge.

I brought myself a battery charger for my bike engined kit car - battery is half the size of one in the FD (so I guess you should treat them as a 2.6).  I also use it on everyone else\'s batterys without a problem, so far!  :Hammer

I saw your post and checked with our technical department, we make low voltage lighting so we use 12v a lot.
