Title: Looking at an Rx7 tonight - Points of things to look for?
Post by: JayRX7 on September 11, 2003, 01:27:50 PM
Going to look at a couple of Rx7\'s tonight -

Red one has 50000 miles but not engine rebuild.
Veilside kit with 17" alloys, dump valve, boost gauge and exhuast but not sure which. Has a Cat 1 alarm and has been sva\'d and MOT\'d and had an oil change etc etc.

Silver one has veilside kit but has had engine rebuild in Japan. Not sure how many miles on the clock of this one. Again, dump valve but also has HKS exhuast and uprated engine parts from HKS and also a knightsport ECU

Again MOT\'d etc etc,

I would be first reg\'d uk owner and they have only recently been imported.

Theyare both going for around the £8000 mark.

Are there any key points I need to look for when viewing - Is it better to have a modded ECU?

They are both in excellent condition too. Any advise would be great.

Just to add to Dave\'s post the silver one has exact same kit and they were both purchased at about the same time.

Cheers - After speaking to Dave £8500 for a car with full Veilside kit seems cheap doesn\'t it?
