Post by: Jono FD3 on December 29, 2005, 04:46:56 PM
Went out for a spin in the Rex last night (almost literaly :3gears-lh ) and got a bit worried when the temp guage started to wave at me  :3Confused  it whent from about centre of the gauge (Normal) down to touching the C (cold) then up, then down, then up!!! stoped at a mates house for about 10 mins and thought I\'d check the water level....... water was luke warm!!! drove home, car whent like hell!! 20 mile run home and again the temp was up & down! got home, poped the bonnet to check it all again:

UIM - cold
Throttle body - warm
IC pipe from turbos - luke warm
from IC to plenum - coverd in frost!!!

Why did it go better....... Mmmmmm I wonder?????

Gotta love the cold weather - i set my land speed record of indicated 173 on my private stretch of 3 lane road on a night like last night....
