Well lads got the new rx up and running but there seems to be a fault sumwhere along the line... On front of the fcon ecu there are 2 lights green and red... The green is on the whole time obviously but the red 1 flashs after the cars been started awhile.... It flashs twice and the 3 times straight after!! And ideas?? And now today there was a really loud beeping noise that went for a awhile stopped and then went for awhile again!! Head is melted really... Only covered 130kms on crappy Irish fuel and havent boosted it once either! Gonna wait tll i get her mapped...
Any help greatly appreciated...
And queston 2.. Got my clifford installed but theres no central locking!! He sez i need a motor of sum sort! Any idea did mazda sell them or do them as standard?? Bit annoying having paid major money for the alarm and having to lock the doors with the key!!
Cheers
Andy
u need a motor he must have been a pony fitter as he should have checked this..i think it goes on the drivers door to activate the rod that locks and unlocks the door..its not a mazda part its a part most alarm fitters carry

Do you mean the actuator gun? Sure it\'s the gun and not just the rod\'s snapped though? That\'s more common. Pull the door card off and have a play, 5minute job to diagnose yourself. The gun\'s should come as part of the kit they installed I\'m almost sure? Check what package you\'ve bought and what should have been in the box just incase. Sounds a bit dodgy to be honest :)
Edit: Just checked and there\'s packages out there that do central locking but use the existing gun in the car. So i guess that\'s whats happened there then.
for remote locking you need a motor on all fd\'s. Not a well known fact. But as they say you learn something new everyday:)
