I got a car in stock quite modded and has a re amemiya ecu. I think it runs at .8 bar of boost as normal, but in the centre console it has a switch which when pressed changes the boost to 1.1 bar the car the goes to warp speed mode. Dan you\'ll probably think i\'m a big girls blouse but I had to back off the accelerator as I crapped myself. This car is very very very fast.
rgds :D
No I dont think your a big girl for this.... I do however think you a big girl coz your selling the FD!!!! :p
It sounds like they have remote mounted the dip switches from the ECU to easy access.
I would have thought that you would need the car turned off to make the change, but we all know those Japanese boys (and girls) are very clever people.
Dan
I never know where I stand with you guy\'s I thought I was a big girl because I drove an auto:)
Can you put up some photos and spec of this car please and also the price, thanks Roy.
This car is unavailable it is a purchase to order for one of the guy\'s on fduk buyers. The car is a 94 r2 23,000 miles, racing clutch full re-amemiya exhaust system, re-amemiya induction, re-amemiya intercooler, re-amemiya ecu, re-amemiya ht leads, not sure of make of injectors, mazdaspeed wheels, gab suspension etc etc. I have been in rx7 more modified but not as quick. Just goes to show that if you get the right equipment and have it set up correctly it will perform as good if not better than just bunging on stuff will nilly trying to get more performance. In my opinion re-amemiya make the best performance parts for fd\'s in Japan. When I get round to building my secret weapon most of the parts will be not so secret re-amemiya\'s. I\'m not at home at the mo so can\'t send pics but if you want to see some I can post later on let me know?.
Ps are you they guy that has/had the black rx7 with black re-amemiya wheels at rx motors ?
rgds
Yes it is me,just curious as to which car it was as ive seen a few of your cars down at Tims.
It\'s also the best handling/controllable rx7 I have driven. It\'s got Gab suspension and different trailing arms on suspension and other bits & pieces. It\'s shame the customer don\'t change gis mind I would defintely keep it for myself.
rgds
Pictures would be nice to see if possible, thanks Roy.
You wouldn\'t of seen this one it was only there for the day.
I will send pics at around 8pm when I get home.
rgds

Now why would I think that? I have followed you though London and at a couple of meets. Your no slower than the rest of us, so only having two pedals is NOT an excuse. :p
Dan
PS. With all that kit on it, I can see that is gonna cost a packet or three.
Actually no I got a fantastic deal which i passed on,he\'s only paying 10k for it.:D
Can I send you a email with pics and you minimise them for me please to post they are all 1200 x 800 ??

Dan
Thanks Dan

love the car mate, no idea what im looking at though lol. What are those silver tubes running along the back of the engine bay going to that silver cannister??
On the interior wouldnt it be better appearance wise to feed the cables to the gauge mounted on the vent through the speaker grill or the vent itself?
Looks great though ;) :)
Any chance you could post a pic up for us all to look at for general interest?
Dan!!

They are the oil lines of a remote oil filter (being the canister near the brake MC) kit. Makes changing the filter a lot easier - and as Dan says they often have take offs for oil-related gauges. Lots of people do the kits, I have one lying about in the workshop some where to go on my 20B :-)
R.
I like the idea of making oil changes easier, as it shocks me just how quickly I can get 3000 miles on the clock!
I am not fitting a remote kit, just using a take off plate and slapping some sensors in that. Easy little cheat.
Dan
I have seen the oil filter changed n this it seems to defeat the object as it takes longer to do.
rgds
Bri - how come it takes longer?? Doesnt really bother me though as the reason its being used on mine is so the motor clears the firewall - the stock filter location wont allow this.
Dan - yeah, I got one of those \'sandwich plates\' with the take offs too. Some where!
R.
You could also use this as an additional form of oil cooling. Move the filter down the where the air circulates and there you go, cooler oil. :)
