If you have any garage space and are willing to get your hands dirty (if you have some skills with spanners) then it\'s in your best interest to break the car as you\'ll get far more for it than selling it whole in it\'s current state :(

Another sad story, always sorry to hear this, but if you do break it, I don\'t know much about the spec of your car but 3grand is probably an under-estimate.
I added up all the sellable bits on my car (stacked also) and including the running, rebuilt engine, I stopped counting at around £5000.
Thats not to say it is easy to do, the weather doesn\'t help, and if you are only an amateur spanner monkey like me, getting everything apart is quite an effort, especially the drivetrain.
Just passing on my experience, it\'s true there is no shortage of vultures especially for aftermarket bits though, so anything you do get off will almost certainly sell.

Im sure you will break her easy on here - there are always people after parts
