Title: Suspension settings== Spirit R?
Post by: ro284 on December 12, 2005, 09:22:47 PM
When i get my Tein flex set up after xmas, and one more tie rod pillow bush,i shall have a full lazer alignment done. i am wondering if there is any thing to be gained in having it set up to the later model settings, like the Spirit R, andrewrx7 has a brilliant Spirit R site,lot\'s of info, So what would you guy\'s think? the Spirit\'s settings are different, but would that only apply to that particular models suspension, spring rates, damper rates, etc.which i think are improved/upgraded,
thoughts please,
Bob

Personally, I\'d go with whatever suits you and your car best, and with your style of driving. I don\'t actually know what the settings are on my car anyway, and any place I have asked at to get the alignment checked, only have earlier models listed. Probably best to choose a style of driving you want to use regularly, and find the settings that others have suggested and go for those. I thought there was also a section on FDUK that had various settings listed - you may want to pop over there and have a look, as well as the link from JonoFD3 above.

You\'d have to travel a fair bit to get it done wher I did!! Haverfordwest, South west Wales!!!

Sorry mate, don\'t know any one up your area!!!
Most of the good tyre fitting places have got the 4 wheel laser line up thingy now, have a ring around, I paid £60 for mine and it was on the ramp for about 4 hours!!!!

Hope this helps,
Jono
