Title: Where do you put your Commander - ooh er!!

Hopefully I will have my Power FC and Commander installed in the not too distant future.  But it suddenly occured to me, where can you put the Commander??  Can you buy a cradle?

Well matey, alot of people just use mobile phone holders, but if you want to go the no expense spared way (and best looking!!!) R-magic do a holder specially for the commander but it certainly aint cheap. You can order them at reworx :yes I will be getting one in a few weeks :Thumbsup!

Yup: I just have a mobile phone holder: a lot cheaper. I\'m happy with that!

The phone holder is a good idea.  Have you got any pictures of the re:worx one?

Geez!!  Just seen it on their site - £45!!!!  + VAT!!!  For a bit of plastic!!   Halfords here I come  :)

I won an r magic one on e-bay for 8 quid think its a case of waiting though its the only one I\'ve seen.

Mate you dont need to spend money on this, the commander fits really well in between the cigarette lighter and the plastic steering column surround.
Mines been there and its easy to read, doesnt wobble, fall out etc.

Gotta say if you can afford the Rmagic one, do it, it fits perfectly to the contours of the dash and looks like it should be there, very well made.

If you\'ve spent all that money on the ecu and commander - \'don\'t spoil the ship...\' as they say and finish it off properly.

I winced at the time but ppl look and do notice the \'real\' holder.

I used the little plastic blank that goes in the cigarette lighter hole, just chopped the end off and used a bit of velcro to secure the commander, keeps it out of the way and you can read it easy through the steering wheel.
