You could try a race style flip up Steering wheel boss.
Or a ball bearing lock removable one.

All the go here in Japan

Ill post a pic when I have time,

but the boss has a lever on the bottom and it flips up to horizontal position when you release the catch. The steering wheel is still attatched.

The ball bearing ones are like Formula one. pull the paddle and it comes right off.

Right i\'m with ya now i know a few people with the ole try nicking my car with no steering wheel ploy. Not really wot i\'m looking for thou as i can clamber into the car easy enough it\'s just when in with a standard wheel & seat right back my left leg is still wedged between the wheel & handbrake bit, ie shocking driving position especially when it comes to using the clutch but hopefully butchering the seat runners, using a funky small momo wheel & possibly the adjustable spacer above will rectify any issues :D
I would presume the supplier etc will have all the bits needed then for fitting to a FD but i wood like to be sure rather than leaving till last minute so any help/advice greatfully received as to parts required........
