Ok i think its about time i changed my discs and pads as well they are OE items and they are long time overdue to be changed. And as i am heavy on the brakes i think they are going to tell me enough is enough lol
Now i am not sure what to go for, OE discs and uprated pads like EBC, Pagid or Mintex or have Groved discs up front. At the same time i am going to get the brake lines changed to braided items as well
Any ideas? and recommend where to get them from? Uk or abroad.
Cheers
Gav
I got my braided lines from re-worx, very nice kit. As for discs i\'d go for http://www.speedways.co.uk/apec/list/mazda/16.htm and get them grooved and drilled (optional extra). For pads im running Blackdiamond up front and longheed at back but im still bedding in.

I think mine are stock and they make the alloy filthy !!!
Do the others stop this from happening ?

Not really, the black diamonds dust for fun

What ever you do dont get Greenstuff pads they are plop with a capital \'P\'. I have black diamond discs all round and they seem okey, but as said before they do make alot of dust. I think when i change my pads i will get Hawk, as i just like their name :yes :rollin

Gav, EBC brakes are not up to the job on an RX-7. Many users on here have founf out the hard way, sadly. :(
Go with either the black diamond disc and pads.

Cheers guys, its funny as when i had the MR2, every one used to say stay away from black diamond as they are prone to cracking...looks like times have changed :)
Has anyone tried tarox sports disc japan, i had them on my old car, pretty impressed but not sure what they would be like on a rex.
