Hey ho everyone, I have been in the lovely aussie sun with my girlfriend for about 3 weeks now and have been soaking up the old skool scene as much as possible. With a best friend here living in Canberra who owns about 14 old skool cars, from an R100 to a Capella coupe,(616 to you uk guys), a whole gaggle of RX5s and 808s. Oh and at least one RX3 that I know of. I have also had the opertunity to go through my stash of parts and was pleased to find most the bits to an R100 dash, a full set of RX4 hub cap that are brand new andlots of other radom things. It is very tempting to drag my R100 stuff back to the uk to do a familiar copy.(like a sedan version of an R100.)
Unfortunantly no spare 12a RX3 nose cones to be had as I was looking quite purposefully for one. Thugh I do now know of a guy who might have the molds to make repo ones so that is still to be investegated.
Whilst we have been here we have been travelling around a fair bit and have seen some very nice examples on the road. Unforunantly I am not quick enough with the camera but I will hopefully be going to visit a friends workshop in the next week and having a name like RE Motorsport it should be cool. I promise to take the camera.
Anyway, I hope you are all happy and well and I am actually champing at the bit to be stuck into the morris minor when I get back.
cheers, michael.
p.s. if people need any small fiddly biys let me know. I am not interested in making money but would like to help if I can source any bits for old skool stuff.
Sounds like you are having a great time over there Michael ... its more than a little cold in the UK at the moment !
Could you have a look out for some S2/S3 wing mirror stalks please ? I have a pair of mirrors on my car that have the LHD stalks and they are bias the wrong way. I meant to e-mail you but my computer froze and I lost about a months worth of e-mails :(
Have a good time ~ Mike

Hey Jase, I am down in Wollongong where I was born and did most of my growing up.
The weather here has turned a bit nasty with heaps of rain last night and today but considering most of NSW is drought stricken it is a good thing.
I will try to get the ball joints tomrrow.
Oh an Mike I have found a left hand rear vision door mirror guard stalk for you.
cheers, michael.

Jase I have one ball joint in my possesion and the other on order. My dad will send the other one over to me then on to you when it arrives at the store.
Or if you would prefer it being sent directly to you then just send me your uk address.
cheers, michael.
Hi michael,
Thanks very much mate I really appreciate it. I can wait for the parts I just thought it would be a good idea to stock up as I had a bit of a nightmare last time.
Thanks again
