Title: Steering wheel - What size?
Post by: Shark on November 19, 2005, 12:37:17 PM
Hi there,

Thinking about a new steering wheel for the RX and am not sure what size?

The aftermarket one in My MX5 obscures the dials and I don\'t want to do that in the RX so can someone tell me what size the standard wheel is?

I\'d measure it but I don;t know if the size is based on measuring inside the outer rim or right to the outside edge  :(

Please help!

Gregor

The standars one is 360mm.
I fitted a D-cut Mazdaspeed wheel, its about 350mm and does not really obscure the dials too much, just at the very top.

Thanks Steve.  I\'m just a little wary because of my height the top of the wheel will obscure more for me than others of a less lanky disposition.

This is the wheel I\'m thinking of, just trying to establish the size of it.
What do you think?
