Title: Load ratings
Post by: Mave on November 17, 2005, 08:05:33 PM
Anyone know what the required tyre load ratings are for an FD? I\'m running 225/45/17 and 255/40/17, considering Falken 451s, Goodyear F1s, and Toyo T1Ss, suddenly realised I should consider the load rating as well......
Cheers,  :cheers

Don\'t think load rates are such a issue on a fd your not likely to be towing a trailer are you. I should check the speed rating though as you dont want one blowing out at 150mph on that private road you use do you. Dont know about the others but F1s are rated at the highest speed rate zr 149mph and above

Cheers, I\'m not too worried about the speed rating, all the tyres I\'m looking at are Z rated. I did worry a bit that whilst I won\'t be towing a trailer, I may be trying to pull lots of "g" :):)
