Title: Need help on...
Post by: Christopher on November 17, 2005, 06:24:31 PM
I hope one of you can help me.
My radiator has got a crack from when I went to Bands Hatch. Iam trying to find an other one quickly because it\'s my everyday car. Ive spok to RX Motors they said they will phone me back if they can find one but three days have past, so it does not look good.

The other thing is Ive bought a MK II streeing box for my MK III rx. I was wondering if anyone as fitted one before and if it was easy or not.

Thanks

Pete.

MK I\'s has the most lighter stering out of the three but theres a lot of work to fit it to a MK III.
MK II is the second lightest and bolts Straight on to a MK III.

I think thats right.

I have a mk 1 which looks like it will be breaking, with intact rad (painted nice and orange!) not sure if it is the same size and fitting though

Just to let you know I found out that a Mk2 will fit a MK3 but it\'s smaller coz it has the oil cooler Underneath. A MK3 oil cooler is under the oil filter.
