got myself one of these today to run my new single :p just wondered peoples opinion of them?

Very easy to use and tuner friendly. Holds boost down well too.
Good choice.
I can second that. Very easy to use and very good once its set up
Scott
The best in my opinion.
Anyone run this on sequential twins? if so, how did you set it up? have got low boost on primary and is perfect once the secondary kicks in with it simply plumbed into the primary wastegate. Haven\'t had time to properly play about, but any handy tips to save me some time would be great :cool ;)

This is what Greddy say:- "Based on the very popular B-Spec., the all new PRofec B-Spec. II’s basic function to increase boost is as easy as the original, with an added built in boost pressure display and optional features like real-time, peak or last boost display (in either kPa or PSI). There are optional warning and boost limiter functions that can be programmed to offer much more control. The two presets values can be stored and are executed by a larger capacity inline solenoid valve. This unit does not require extensive programming and is ideal for low to high boost levels for single or twin turbos with actuator or external wastegates. "
I bought one of these too, haven\'t got it fitted yet but am told it will keep the boost a lot more smooth. I\'ll get it fitted when it gets mapped and then just enjoy those G\'s!
dunno wav matey but have one on mine & it is sweet as you\'d have to ask Pip if there was anything complicated about setting it up but dont recall there was anything daft. i leave it on lower or wotever settign then just turn knob to whatever %age level you know gives boost you want, i find 26% gives me standard .8 bar kinda boost which is max i ever go rest of time i turn it right down when it\'s warming up & cooling down & wet & er anything else which scares me :D lol

Doesn\'t the lowest boost setting also depend on what your spring rate is in your wastegate, i.e. if your wastegate spring rate is 10psi then you can\'t turn it down any lower than that?
probably not like i can turn my boost off altogether but it sure helps with not accidentally getting all 300 ponies firing up.....
Si
yeah, approximately 0.5bar is the lowest you can go with the std spring without doing something special.
Cheers,
Paul:)

Ahh, i think i know how pip pipes them up now, think he may t the solenoid into both the primary wastegate and secondary pre-spool actuator:cool
Ta,
Paul ;)
Very good boost controller, i have one in mine. :)
My twins run fine with the controller "Td" into just the main wastegate, rock solid boost (with usual little dip at transition). I looked at "T" ing them together but decided against it in the end as it runs fine.
"off setting" = 7psi
"low" = 10psi
"high" = 13ish psi
3 boost settings from 1 controller aint bad, and they are dead easy to set up...
Cheers
