Title: Tein HR suspension
Post by: Mave on November 14, 2005, 06:55:34 PM
Hi, I\'ve got Tein HR suspension fitted to my FD, it\'s set up quite stiff so tend to be skittish on country roads. Does anyone have an installation guide or recommended settings for normal road use?

what you need to do is get an allen key and turn the little head on top of the shock fully anti-clockwise, this will make it softer.

Thanks for the response, does this change the damper or the spring settings? It thought the springs were adjusted by C-spanners? If I crank the whole kit down to the softest setting, presumably that is still a balanced setup?
Cheers, :)

The make the springs softer, you will need to raise them or replace them with softer units.

Martin\'s solution is to soften the damping.

You should not be travelling at illegal speeds on country lanes...there are pheasants, deer and old ladies driving Fiestas who might come in harms way.! :(

Who said anything about illegal speeds? :) :) To be honest, on anything other than smooth roads, the old ladies in Fiestas are probably flashing me out of the way :(
