Hi All,
Been checking the boost pipes on my car today and found one coming off the air box that was not connected at the other end!
Should it be like this? (if not where should it go & does it affect anything?)
I think this plugs into the solid pipe on the front turbo. I could well be wrong.

before i changed to apexi intake im sure i remember it was just hangin under air box ??
i wondered the same thing at the time?
It just hangs down and connects to nothing. Our cars have 2 blow-off valves. When boost is released by these, it goes back to the air box, I think just to quieten them down. That pipe doesnt really have a job except to vent so there is never pressure build up inside the airbox.
As Martin says, its just a vent pipe that connects to nothing.
Nice one, solved! Cheers all :guinness

when you remove the pipe, you will hear stupid noise from your airbox. This is a silencer pipe to prevent the noise caused by charged air blown by blow-off valve and the relief valve which will enter the box and which need to exit the box somewhere.
