In a blatant rip off of the comp going on in the Chit Chat section I thought I\'d start one for the FC section only, after all we are very special people who deserve that little bit of exclusivity! :o
So heres the first challenge :-
TIME:- Starting tonight and running until the end of next Friday.
CAR:- Enfini 4 (Cost between 20,000 and 35,000cr 2nd hand)
MODS:- Any except Nitrous (please declare apprx HP of car and tyre type)
TRACK 1 :- Tsukuba circuit
TRACK 2 :- The ring
Lets see who can come up with the best times.

Just loaded it up... can\'t find the enfini 4 anywhere.... should we be playing in arcade mode or GT mode??
What mods are allowed?? Tyres etc...
GT mode, you can use whatever mods you like.
Look for the Enfini 4 in the early 1990\'s used car section. Theres normally one in there. (I managed to get one with only 4 miles on the clock)
Nope. I don\'t have that car. he earliest I have access to is a \'91 FD :(
I have just been on Arcade mode in the BP Faulken FC though on Tsukuba... mucho fun!!

Just done 1min dead with a few tweaks (ok 450bhp, roll cage, brakes, IC etc...)
Still using sports tyres though, reckon I could use a lot more of the extra power if I had some grip. When I\'ve saved up for some Racing soft compounds we should see that time tumble.
All done using the pad btw. NO nitrous either.

450bhp Enfini FC, No weight loss or NOS, Soft sports tyres. lowered by 15mm, springs stiffened by 2kg front and rear, rebound up by 1 point front and rear, roll bars stifffened by 2 points front and rear.
I reckon I can get it down by another second on the sports tyres, after that I\'ll have to have a go with the racing soft compound and see what we get.

With a pad, I had a wheel but they suck (but it was a cheap one...)
I\'m just going to have a go at the ring again I\'m sure I can get another 5-7 secs off that time :)
New Record on the Nurburgring: 6.54.495
Slight tweak to the gear ratio and an almost 100% clean lap (clipped the grass twice)
Got the replay saved, might try and get it as an AVI.
I\'ve gotta say the FC is much more well balanced than the FD :) Makes me want one now...

I\'ve just managed 7.45mins, plenty more to come when I put some proper tyres on there!
Got Tsukuba down to 58.5secs now, I think I can maybe shave another half second off of that on the current setup but I will deffo have to go with race spec tyres tomorrow.

Look in an FD my record stands at 6:25.525 so 6:52 sucks. :D But that doesn\'t count here....

Gotta say you can get a mad drift (not good for the times) on the last corner on the Sports:Soft tyres.... entry to exit full high angle drift :)

new time 6.37.534 oddly that was on defalt sus settings kept playing with other setings and it was eather too much oversteer or understeer :S .

53.65secs with Race/soft tyres, maybe I should invest in lightening the car! :yes
the best thing you can buy for the car is the super soft quallifying tyres, silly amounts of grip, just dont use them in a race, they last about 3min on the ring!
53.488 now, got a few corners to perfect, once I know I\'m maxxed with this setup I\'ll loose some more weight from the car. :)
RX7 GT-X - 431bhp all mods except NOS, Stage 3 instead of orignal tuned turbo,

just changed the turbo to "original" so car mow at 429bhp (went down a little)
new lap of 53.170
you get a better spread of power with the original kit its a good pay off for a few less bhp!
I see......... So fustrating there is no stage 4 for these.
