Title: Pics of my new 2000 Type R FD
Post by: racer1 on August 31, 2003, 11:08:40 AM
Hello ppl i\'m kinda new in this forum. I live in Cyprus and just bought my FD 2000 Type R model. Not many mods yet but i was discussing with some guys here in Cyprus of what would be the best.

One option is that: HKS T51R KAI BALL BEARING turbo kit, Apexi Gt spec FMIC, Apexi Type S radiator, HKS twin power, 850/1600 injectors with new fuel rails, Apexi fuel pressure regulator, HKS internal+external fuel pumps, Cusco twin plate clutch. Motec M880 ECU or Haltech E6K, FJO wideband

The other option is all of the above except the turbo kit that is the new Apexi AX75 turbo kit and Apexi PFC with datalogit and commander.

Any suggestions?

The car already has HKS Hiper dumper suspention, J-spec intakes, AVS 17" wheels, GT wing, HKS turbo timer, momo steering.

Ordered today: Blitz technospeed Z1 Gold 18"\'s

Here in Cyprus we don\'t have experianced mechanics on rotary\'s so i\'ll need most of the help you can give. Do there are any good tuners or companies that produce performance parts or build rotary engines in Europe?

Welcome on board. I cannot understand how you get away WITHOUT a vented bonnet. You must see some very high temps out there.

Dan actually i\'m thinking about upgrading the cooling system rad,IC as well as a vented hood. We have VERY high temps during the day like 40C+ but during the night the temp drops to 20. I don\'t even dare to start the engine during the day.
