Where can I get a MPH Speedo Face for my 7 ?
Most companies who sell them don\'t have RX7 versions....which is a shame.......
I know I can get a proper converter and delimiter in one......but I\'d rather have the speedo face for now.
Also...If I go and ask for the UK spec Rear Fog Light Switch from the local Mazda Dealer...will they look at me as if I am stupid ? (They were OK with MX5 - but they are common as muck)
Ben, try Black Cat Custom they are based in Canada and they supply dial faces in MPH. I have 2 sets of white dials that I ordered off of them some months ago (have\'nt got around to fitting them yet)in Canada they run in KPH but they supply them in MPH for the Yanks and can also ship too the UK. Take a look at their web site too get an idea of what they do eg colours etc, they supply full sets that include heater controls rev counter etc. When I ordered mine they did free P&P because I had 2 sets,you will have too speak too them over the phone from memory I think they are 6 hours behind us. i was just about to order a set of these to go with my RE Amemiya white steering wheel gauge i have also just ordered, what does the quality seem like?? Also, are any instructions supplied, and if so and you have read them, do the needles need to be removed, as i am a bit wary as to having to recalibrate my needles afterwards!
One more question, you get to choose what color they light up at night, how does this work, is it a colored backing to the white face or does it come with bulbs or something??

Hi Ryan,as I said I have\'nt got around to fitting them yet, I am not going too tackle them myself but a mate of mine how is a mechanic is going to do them. He seems too think they are going to be straightforward enough to fit, I am going to get a Momo wheel fitted at the same time as it looks like a dash out job may as well get it all done in one hit. As regards the back ground colour you can choose the colour that you wish to shine through from the original dash lights. You can also choose the colour of the numbers around the speedo face, rev counter etc. The guy has alot of examples on his web site and I think he can add logo\'s too the faces e.g RX7 etc.They did not come with any instructions so I think it\'s a case of suck it and see, will be trying to get them done in a couple of weeks time so you could always wait and see how mine turn out first. May give everyone an idea of potential problems etc, not even sure if needles do need removing yet. I will keep you informed as too progress, and also try too get some pictures of set posted here, have too borrow a Digi camera for that, best regards Leigh.
