whilst racing my mate in his calibra turbo he said flames about a foot long were coming out of my exhaust, is this normal?

With a free-er than stock exhaust system yes. Dumping the cat for a mid pipe will pretty much guarantee flames, if used with a rich map - the base map on say the Power FC is a good example.

Once tuned properly the flames and popping/banging will generallly reduce as from what I\'ve seen you generally take a fair wad of fuel out.

PS Matt - where do you live? I\'m in Newbury.

Well well well....how long you had it?

Only black one I\'ve seen around here is an L-plate. Parked outside Texaco in Parkway last time I think but that was ages and ages ago. Where u get it from?

I have a silver 96 but it lives in the re:worx workshop in portsmouth, its having a 20B shoved in it over the coming months...

I have geff\'s (re:worx) bridgeport red j-plate on occassion and will have a black RZ up here for a bit soon. We should meet up for some fun with the Nova and Co. kids some time :D I had geffs car a couple of weeks ago and spent a couple of saddo evenings terrorizing the locals :rollin

Nice, yeah definatley mate, i love cruising round and intimidating the parkway crew.

I got mine from torque imports about 3 months ago. You should come round and have a look.

Ive drove past a red one on kiln road a few times, not sure if that was you or not.

and whats a 20B??

Cool. Trouble around here is there\'s no talent that puts up a half decent fight :D

There was a guy with a red 200SX who used to give it some - but the last time I had him his car decided to shit itself while we were stood about having a chat afterward - dense white smoke every where, he was on his 2 turbo in 6 months too :(

You have a 13B motor (2 rotors) in your FD. The 20B motor (3 rotors) was used in a plush 2 door sedan that mazda sold in Japan called the Eunos Cosmo...

yeah i know what you mean, i had an r33 skyline chicken out of a race cos he said i would toast him, and an s2000 on the lights but he wouldnt race. There a quick audi rs4 with nos, it wont the gti international show 0-60 in under 4 secs.

so will have 3 rotarys make produce much more power. This bloke called carl came round and said someone was doing a 3 rotary
