I was wondering if anyone could help with few question I have , please try to keep with me on this thread as it does go on  :yes after reading Bretts thread on his dyno result I decided to turn the boost up on my TII to .8 bar . With the controller i\'ve got the boost rises to .8,6 then settles at .8 ish ,this got me thinking when is the fuel cut was ment to cut in and if the car had a defencer fitted so I checked the ecu to see if anything was there only to find nothing but on the sticker on the ecu it said egi does this mean its from a non-turbo and if so what trouble will it cause ? thanks for any help on this.

EH ???

EGI - that means ... electronic goverend injectors ( or something like that !! )

IF you have the FCD it will be on the drivers shock tower plugged into the pressor sendor

black box with 2 block connectors - one into the pressure sensor - one into the lead that should plug into the pressure sensor :)

what mods have you got on the car ?? - this may help us figure out whats going on

i have a decat system , induction kit and FCD - mine boosts to about .8 ( .9 if you floor it in 5th - so i dont ! )

All the ECU\'s have EGI on them, just means Electronic Gasoline Injection.
If your ECU has N374 on the casing its a JDM spec, I think N340 is the UK ECU num,ber for a TII.  I can check the ECU number for a N/a FC3S on Saturday night, I\'m not in the UK at the moment.

right , now I feel like a complete dumb ass ! I\'ll put it down to being new to rx\'s  :spank the ecu is jdm, there are no boxes near pressure sensor . the mods are :blitz air filter , decat exhaust and after market system , blitz id boost controller soon to have i.c spray. you wouldn\'t think I worked on jap cars all day ?!? :chat

maybe the ECU incoporates the FCD - some do

any idea what the ECU is - panspeed , stock with chip ????

the ecu is stock and looked untouched I will open it up on saturday and see whats inside . at what pressure huld the fuel cut come in ?
