I think there\'s a bit more to that car than a body kit, hasn\'t it got a spaceframe front?

thats the Aspara Drink RX isnt it out of Super GT

Hog, I asked some about this once and got told this (http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/new_parts/parts/05_gt_repu_04_kit.html)  was it, its not exactly the same, but like someone said may be more to that car than the bodykit.

It is something like the GT car and I do like it. I think I am going to have to settle for that kit. But where the hell do I get it from and how much does it cost. :cheers

Try these guys out mate. I asked them about some bits a while ago and they were really helpful. Got back to me with a quote in a day or so.

http://www.ooparts-international.co.jp/index/car/frameset.html

But, if it is a limited production kit it maybe a bit harder to find i guess. But you never know :)

We ordered a set in Feb this year. The kit is available and made to order. Average wait time is 6 weeks before being shipped out of Japan. That said, the kit is of very good quality. Looks great too after viewing it at Tokyo Auto Salon in Jan.

Total costs to the UK inclusive of VAT, Duty and Air Shipping would be approx near £5k. If you like, I can get a more definite price for Re Amemiya for you?

Can have the kit professionally fitted also.

Cheers,
Freddy.

If you could Freddy that would be great also fitting costs respray etc. PM me with full details. No great rush, as moving house next week and lots of other things to get sorted first.
Thanks mate. :cool

Sure you know already but remember to budget for a set of \'proper\' wheels to fill them wide arches :) 12" rears should give you a bit more traction on the strip :D

All that extra bodywork is going to slow you down some on the strip too! But i guess tha doesnt matter so much when you have a car that looks sooooo good :rollin

Dont think the weight will be much different as your replacing steel wings front & rear with f/glass. As for wheels I have 11.5 wide on mine with a +50 offset & 2" spacers to bring them out to the arch. or you could go deep dish the other way with a lower offset

This is great lads keep the ideas and advice coming.
I havn\'t contacted Mig yet as just testing the water.
Another idea would be to source a rex with the kit already on it, possibly with a dead engine and sort it out, re-spray RE engine T51 1st,2nd,3rd dog box etc etc etc. That may well be a cheaper option than kit, fitting and full re-spray. I\'m looking at a min of 10k just on brand new engine etc etc etc so may in fact work out cheaper.
We will see what comes out in the wash. :eek

I ordered the earlier version of this kit, a while ago. Going to fit it to what was the camo car. Just need to finish of the interiour bits, and the kit will be going on. The \'current\' plan is to paint it black, with red and white graphics.

once bought you\'ll just have to find the rims to  fill the arches & if its anything like mine you\'ll struggle.

Being an Ex Marcos man. It looks very very sim to the track GT LM600 race motors, been around for years. Still looks bloody good though. I had one looked almost the same.

Widebody... on FD good! On Japanese ladies... erm not so good!!
The rims will cost at least half the price of the bodykit I found.
