I will soon be in a position to buy my first FD and I like the look of the type R spec. I have picked up a massive amount of information from this site - many thanks to all you gurus - but I have one question that I hope you can help with.

I thought that type Rs had alacantra look seats but I have seen a few photos that show what looks like a cloth centre sections.

Can anyone tell me for certain what seats were in the R1 and R2?

Mine is a type r1 and has alcantara seats.

Mine has leather seats, and is a Type X hope this does\'t confuse!

I have a type R2 and i have the checked style cloth seats.

Looks loke a really great car but my budget wont stretch that far :(
