This could lead to my wearing a pointy hat with a big \'D\' on it. !!!!
At the weekend i noticed this twice, after a bit of a drive i went to my mums house (because i left my slippers  ) i let the engine cool down and opened the bonnet, shut off and went for a brew. When i came to start her up again, i just leant in and turn the key, not enough to start the engine nut you know that click when you get dash lights and the commander comes on. As i did this s hissing noise came from the engine around the filter/brake thingy and it lasted about 4 to 5 seconds then got slower and slower and then stopped. Did the same when i got back to my house, parked up, went in for a shandy came back to check the knock level on the run, and it did it again.??????????????????
Do i have a snake lying in wait for me to turn the key, or is air pressure venting, what ever it is im mucho confused, although it doesnt really take that much to confuse me :yes
I believe the servo has a air feed to it from the plunum ( the pipe is a flexi one ) which has a one way valve, it may be faulty, just an idea. :wave
