Title: Flushed headlights
Post by: power_king on October 24, 2005, 01:26:12 PM
I was wondering if anybody knew where I could purchase some flush headlights for my Rex. Not so keen on the frog eyes although they look good.
I never started out intending to do anything to it when I bought it and now it\'ll be running 500bhp+ when it gets mapped after the next 300 miles...what is it with these motors??!!
I\'ve seen some on eBay in the states but they\'re quite pricey.

Also thinking of upgrading the brakes, anyone have suggestions?

Cheers

Ty

Mate, if you expect 500+ponies after your mapping I would be looking at your brakes, all very well having the go but it aint no good if it dont stop :eek Hope you have sorted your clutch / drive train that is quite a leap in HP if you haven\'t sorted the rest.
PS - make sure you have good rubber in all 4 corners as well :wave

Thanks mate, yep, everything else has been upgraded, and I mean EVERYTHING.
Kerim Fahri and Jay Dullforce did the build, who I can\'t rave about enough, and Jay will be doing the mapping...the brakes could be a problem though, as Thelma and Louise should have known, you\'re only as good as your anchors

I was wondering if anyone knew the cheapest place to buy the RE-Amemiya sleek headlight kit, I saw it when I was scouring Google last night and it looks sweet!

btw - Thanks for the brakes Ed, look forward to getting them fitted!

RE Amemiya lights would be around £700 from Japan, that is in used condition. Bit more if new.

The ones you posted initially are around £460 supplied to the UK with VAT etc paid.
