Title: Turbonetics on 20B
Post by: normski on October 22, 2005, 04:36:35 PM
It seems Pip is going for a Turbonetics T72, after all. What ever one of them is. Says we would have room problem if we go for something too big. Supposed to be very near a T88 in performance, but Ha, what do I know  :xconfused. Managed to snap some pics. Probably 1000 injectors, running a semi dry sum. Lots of custom made parts to make it all work. Doweled block. Thursday, when I was up there, his latest guess is somewhere around high 500s BHP at the fly when finnished. Still has the dummy black in at the moment as they are making the custom manifold, but it seems we only weeks away from a fire up. As he said, If it\'s not right. he will rip it out and start again, till it is right... Thats Pip.

Post pics soon.... :p

The great thing about all this dev work is it makes things simpler for people wanting to do the conversion in the future ;)
