Title: Rear fog light - how do i make it red again?
Post by: Tim Oldland on October 20, 2005, 12:57:16 PM
Afternoon all,

I\'ve got my MOT tomorrow, and i\'ve just noticed that my rear fog light, which is the exhaust-side reversing light rewired, has lost whatever red colour was on it before.

Any ideas on what i can make the lens red with? Red marker pen? Red nail varnish? Red seethrough plastic film?

Help!

Yes, red see thro plastic film, go to any motor factors or halfords/motroworld and you can buy it there.

Thats what i did for my fog light conversion into one of the reverse lights.

I used red paint from a model shop, cost £1 a pot.  Use a thin brush and just brush it on the inside.  Takes about 5 mins and dries nicely in a few hours.
