can any one tell me what they reckon to this? im ordering loads of cooling and wrap stuff and saw this, i already have the tank and fittings, and also a intercooler spray bar being made up, so thought i could run a system with this on as well?
Well it\'s made by DEI and they don\'t tend to make cak. I can see the theory and as you already have the bottle and spray bar why not....
They also do an intake piece with an "egg" inside which cools intake charge. All these bits can be fitted before the spray bar so why not.
will my ecu need re mapping?
Someone knowledgable correct me, the ecu reads the intake temps and adjusts the fuel map, if it reading x temps and then gets lots of cold fuel not detected by ecu, wont the map be wrong, to rich, so no benefit?
There is a fuel temp sensor in the original secondary rail but doesn\'t look like there is space for one in that rail. When getting a new secondary rail for bigger injectors i think most people just set the fuel temp factor on the apexi to 1 so it affects nothing and remove the temp sensor/tape it somewhere out of the way.
Guess it could lower intake temps past the air temp sensor but surely not by very much. Will wait for someone who knows to answer rather than guessing :) .
Jamie , have you got your CO2 fitted and working ?? if so what sort of results are you getting ?? Also what make of kit is it ??
Sorry for all the questions , I thought I was the only one playing with CO2 , my kit has been designed and built by myself with a load of help from Richard at Turbobits , just got to fix a couple of bugs and it\'ll be working properly
No i have nothing on the car yet, i just have the bottle, solenoids, switchs and hoses
