Since having the car back I\'ve done 530 miles so far most of it motorway mileage. The car is running sweet at the moment. So I\'m doing her 1st oil change this week. No doubt its gonna rain for the next 3 months and I wont be able to get her to the magic 1k mark. Fingers crossed though.

I am having my first running-in service on Thursday (1200 miles done now) I know it\'s over due but things being things have prevented it so far.

Jase, use any excuse, if you run out of milk then a quick drive to leeds to get more!! :) i think i did my run in miles in about two weeks, mind you i had factored the run down to pips for mapping as part of my run in. :)

I remember running in my 13bturbo mazda 1300 coupe and it was such a pig! It had a 4.8 mini spool rear end and hated cruising. Loved acceleration but was like a grumpy old man when I was trying ot be sedate.
Jase you should just come up to Mull for the weekend. Should be enough ,miles for you, plus there would always be a cold beer waiting!!
I\'ve been using any excuse I can think of to go for a drive, A good 1 so far was " I\'ve got to go get some petrol" the nearest garage is 500 yards but I chose another 1 which was about 15 mile away. Anyway 1 1/2 hours later I return having used the petrol I went off for in the 1st place :rollin. Cant use the milk 1 though as we get it delivered :reallymad.
Bob that sounds like a great idea do you have an email address I can contact you at. and that reminds me where abouts in Oz are you going, my folks live just outside Canberra. I could do with some rear brake shoes and some other bits and bob\'s !!!!! I\'ll get a list for ya LOL :cool

hi Jase, I am landing in melbourne but will be trekking up to wollongong quite quickly. I have a few very good mates in canberra so will be popping down there for a visit no doubt. I would be more that happy to pick up some stuff for you as long as it fits in my bag!!! Also I have a few mates that have about 25 old skool mazdas between them so id there are any other hard to get bits please let me know.
