Title: FAO people who have re-located battery
Post by: ScuttleRX on October 16, 2005, 10:52:38 PM
Just wondering where you ran the cable, imagine the cable you need to use is going to be rather thick, wouldnt have thought it would have fitted under the door sills.

Or did you run it another way, over the top of door frame perhaps, or under car even (is this ok to do? would be very easy if it is as theres a nice sized gromit under where seats used to be)

I ran mine along where the air con pipes should be to the bulkhead, then down and along the underside of the car, basically you can run them on the underside of the car fine, get a decent thickness of cable, and make sure you fix it well, mine is tiewrapped to the existing plastic ducting that holds the fuel pipes in place.. Mine is relocated to the boot, over the rear axle in the middle..

Nice one, I was hoping you could do that, I find routing normal size wires through the car a PITA let alone some 0 or 2 gauge stuff :D

Suppose main thing to make sure it is tight against the underside so no chance of catching on anything or dropping
