........for 4k, its the yellow FD.
Proabably got less than 10k left on the engine but never mind, now just gotta find the money. Checked doen the back of the sofa but that only got me £1.20. Any donations greatfully accepted.......only joking. :p
still got the engine from your TII, you could make some pennies that way?
Still got the engine, the **** has not given me anymore cash yet, but don\'t think i could sell it for 4k.
This is the most i\'ve posted in months!!
i knew you couldnt stay away from rotary\'s for long, i have tried several times and i\'m now on my seventh!
I know, i just need to work out how to fix/rebuild them now!
4k for an FD - thats not tooo bad mate - im sure you sold it for 5-6K
you know you wanna :) :) :)
Yeah its cheap. Get it back!
Sold it for 6.5k :D
Just been watching an old vid from when it was rolling roaded in sheerness, want it back more than ever!
not being funny - is 4K cheap with a rebuild looming ???
Thats good news Graham,
I remember when i sold my Escort Cosworth i asked the buyer to offer me first refusal if he sells it, that was 2yrs ago and he still loves it so no chance at the mo. Great thing about buying your old car back is that you know the car and how it drives as well as the bad points so no suprises.
£4K without rebuild ? might still be good for like 12K yet so no immediate panic, think you said 55K so not written in stone that the rebuild is iminent ;) Else its a £7k car.
With the amount of miles i do a year the rebuild won\'t be needed for about 3 years if it lasts another 10 - 12k, so plently of time to save. But then again you never know with a rotary so its a game of rotary roulette.
If you do get it, dont go trashing the front bumper too much this time!! ;)
Go for it, especially at that price :3gears-rh
Buy it back and come to some meets! Who wants to drive a Focus to events next year eh! ;)
its about time you came back. there is a good gang in essex now and we are all available to do engine rebiulds for the price of a few cups of coffee and a kfc family bucket (you supply the parts)

:D what do you want for a kfc bucket :D
Its a tough one, i would have to stop going to my Focus meets where we discuss the best place to get sensible shoes from :D
I thought i would give you an update. I went to see the car yesterday as i haven\'t seen it for a while. Its had a few bits done to it, nothing major new tyres, rear screen, steering wheel and harnesses. Front bumper is quite bad and will need to be repaired at a cost of about £600, also it has a black air intake head lamp cover that i would want painting. I will get a insurance quote from AON next week to see what they can do for me and then make a decision about whether to buy it or not.
Stop ****ing about....
"YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO!"
Ok, theres no need to shout
"you Know What You Have To Do!" :D (trys the softly softly approach)
Graham, as you are asking in the forum, I suspect you have already made up your mind you just need us to help you justify it! Consider it perfectly justified that you should buy back the car, you loved it. lets look at the facts:
handles well
fast
fun to drive
practical (well ok...)
economical (when compared to an F1 car)
so just buy it!
