Title: 384 BHP At the rear Wheels
Post by: antnicuk on October 07, 2005, 06:57:10 PM
Many thanks to all the guys at Reworx,  Max Chris and Geff,  also big thanks to Tim at RX motors for all the bits, his advice and his clutch,  Last but certainly not least, thanks to Richard (Compressor) and Jay (T2REW) for their help in changing the clutch at the weekend.

The graph below is the run before the 384 because on that run we hit the safety limiter on the boost controller which dropped the boost, as we forgot to raise the safety cut level,  we hit 384 bhp but there was a nice lull in the curve but as you can see this one is nice smooth.  Not bad for an old TII series 4 engine.  :wiggle

i\'m sure i can break something!  :burnout

Max was ready with the cloth to wipe the rollers when the engine shat itself,   :flamed

thankfully it didnt and seems to be holding out really well.

i dont think he had much faith in my engine building skills,    ;)  probably cos he knows what a cheapskate i am!

cheers chris,   let me know how you get on, i will check the forum before i leave!  Why arent you outside working on your car, you could have it ready for sunday if you pulled your finger out!!!

John,  thats the main problem with a T88 turbo.  Certainly pulls well when its there,  i was looking at the dyno graphs on the wall and yours has more down low than most peoples, If i was looking at them correctly, I have a bit than Jeff and Phill until they hit boost!!

I needn\'t have worried, the engine seemed really good, top job Tony :)

Just goes to show that good results can be achieved on a budget, even though you are nearly as tight as me ;)

Now go play with some wheelspin (road tyres, you must be mad!!)

I hope not, I buried my daughter last year who was D.S.
I have reported the above post/picture use as it has offended me, my wife also reads and views these threads. As such I will remove my auto notification of any new posts to the thread. I don\'t need her upset by this sick humour.

Listen you people need to lighten up in this place!

It is ridicuous recently with most being so uptight..... you lot of all should know by now the p1ssing we do here.

FFS, Tony just lost out on a good day of racing tomorrow which we were all looking foward to seeing.    He finally got the ole girl up and running sweet, I for one know the hours of tears and sweat went into the car, and for this to happen!
Just trying to lighten the mood a bit chaps.....

We all take the **** here i agree - but out of each other, not those a lot less fortunate than us. That pic was over the line imo, esp considering some stuff thats removed, this kind of thing has come up before and been rightly frowned upon. There ARE people on this forum who are/have been effected by D.S. so - regardless of how much u were trying to make light of Ant\'s problems in good spirit - may b show them some sensitivity bro...thats all I was saying, I find 99% of really offensive stuff really funny, just not this.

I have removed any posts that are linked to the picture or comments.
Please I do not want to see any referal to these, so have removed back to a point where I feel safe for this thread to continue, or I will simply close it.

Others have had feelings deeply hurt, and I have worked with alsorts of children in the past, and dont want to see it myself.

I hope this meets with everyones agreement.

Thanks
