Title: Thursday Wheel Quiz
Post by: Red and Single on October 06, 2005, 11:17:06 AM
Anyone care to hazard a guess at what these wheels are  :xconfused

They are from Japan I believe and are genuine split rims. Due to them being refurbed, they have no stickers or markings on whatsoever :xconfused

I would be most gratefull for any help in identifying these as I\'m desperate to get my hands on some centre caps for them.  :cool

Many thanks

Dave Hughes :)

They look a lot like these !!!  :cheers

http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13743

So they are indeed Mazdaspeed MS-01 Split Rims jointly produced by Mazdaspeed and Rays. No longer in production I\'m guessing.

Not so sure I want those centrecaps anyhow, not to my taste !!  :eek

Thanks to those who had a look !!  :cool

Dave Hughes :cheers

I had MS01s.  They just dont look like them to me, the spokes seem a bit thick.

They look a lot like these too, although there are less bolts on my rims....

SSR Vienna Spoke rims according to wheelspecs.com

I cant find a bigger / better picture and SSR\'s website appears to be down :(

I dont think they are the OZ rims as the outer rim is markedly different.

And on we go...

Thanks for looking Gerry  :wave

I agree the outer rim is much rounder than my wheels, I like the look of those SSR vienna\'s but cannot for the life of me find any further pics.

Cheers for your help
