Hello guys just a quick question.
Had my car at wgt a couple of weeks ago to have my t88 and fueling setup, but due to having a knackered boost controller, it kept cutting off bosst near to the 5000rpm mark.
So to solve that a new boost controller is on the way.
The thing im thinking of is this... i allready uprated the fuel pump with a bosch 044 one and replaced the 550cc injectors with 1600cc ones.
Now would i be able to use the 550cc injectors we took out as aditional ones to the 4 i already have?.
I also replaced the fuel rail with a custom one from gary marks "cheers", so i have the stock one left, what i was thinking is using the 2 550cc injectors i have and the stock fuel rail to go on the plenum as aditionals, is this possible?, would i need another pump and fuel pressure regulator?
Or am i talking nonsense? lol
Yes you can use additional injectors, just bought a set up myself, there going to be located on a greddy elbow. Think you would be alright with just one FPR but you may need to run another pump, depends on the limits of the bosch really, if its flow rate is up to the job you can just stick with that.
Would need an additional injector controller also, but I have heard from another member on here, and its what I plan to do if possible, that pip can set up the power fc to run the extra injectors. Believe there is some trickery involved regarding resistances, etc, but end result is having 4 injectors fire as secondaries. Let us know what you find out about it if you ask him ;) I\'ve got a feeling all injectors may have to be same size for this...
You could always swap your primaries for 850cc\'s, might be easier/cheaper.
Oh not too knowledgable on fuel rails, i\'ll let someone else answer that :)
